About the product
Glucocorticoids have varied metabolic effects and modify immune response. Triamcinolone differs from naturally occurring glucocorticoids such as hydrocortisone and cortisone by having a greater anti-inflammatory and glycogen forming effect and diminished mineralocorticoid (salt-retaining) properties. The plasma half-life is approximately 5 hours, and the biological half-life is 18 to 36 hours.
